Last year I replaced the completely rotten & broken silencer & tailpipe on our Hijet with an old one from a Kawasaki that I found in my garage.

[img][/img]

Well it's been blowing recently, so I took it off yesterday...

[img][/img]

Beyond repair, so I dug another one out & made it fit.

much quieter again...

I will get my mate to tidy up the welding at weekend (he can weld, I can't).

Then paint it & see how long this one lasts.

rated at 79(437kg) & 83(487kg). Anybody have any views on the suitability of these?

When i put steering in full lock (or nearly) when i straighten back up the steering pulls to that side, the left or right depending on which lock it was on. It does this for half a mile (give or take) then goes back to normal. A mechanic took a look and said everything looks o.k. and it only passed it's m.o.t. in December with no steering problems. So is this normal on a HiJet ?

At the risk of everyone thinking I'm a dork

Where is the horn on a 1998 1300 efi petrol Hijet MPV please It has died and I've checked the wiring/connections I can see and the fuse - I can't find the actual horn though

All help gratefully received
